General Counselling Program (Toowoomba only)
Individualised, one-on-one support for children and young in need.
The General Counselling program in Toowoomba provides counselling and intervention to children and young people under 18 years, who:
- are subject to statutory intervention; and
- require support as a therapeutic response arising from a personal experience of physical, emotional or sexual abuse/harm and neglect.
Our Counselling Program provides individualised assessment, counselling and support to address the unique therapeutic needs of children and young people. We work with each child or young person over 26 sessions, which can be extended if needed.Support around the child or young person’s behaviour is also offered to carers.
