Early Intervention Youth Counselling

Counselling for young people exhibiting sexually reactive behaviours.

The Youth Sexual Violence and Abuse (YSVA) program is funded by the Queensland Government Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women to provide trauma informed, developmentally sensitive and culturally safe counselling and support to children and young people 10-17 years exhibiting sexually reactive behaviours which may include problem sexual behaviours or sexually abusive behaviours.

Youth Sexual Violence and Abuse (YSVA) program

The YSVA program is a free service offering weekly one-hour counselling appointments for up to 26 sessions at Mercy Community Toowoomba, 104 South Street, Centenary Heights, Toowoomba.

We are unable to provide transport for counselling and consistent attendance at counselling is required to maintain a therapeutic relationship and achieve the overall goals of counselling.
