Shane Dwyer
General Manager, Mission Integration
Shane Dwyer is an enthusiastic and talented leader with a wealth of experience spanning three decades in Catholic and Ecumenical contexts.Â
Prior to joining Mercy Community, he held a number of senior positions, including Director of Academic Resources at the Sydney College of Divinity, Academic Dean at the Broken Bay Institute, and Adult Formation Coordinator for the dioceses of Brisbane, Canberra, and Wollongong.Â
Shane has also contributed to Catholic education and social welfare agencies in various capacities and served as the inaugural Director of the National Centre for Evangelisation under the Australian Catholic Bishops Conference.Â
With a background in tertiary-level lecturing on Catholic theology, Shane has enjoyed speaking at numerous conferences, crafted adult formation courses, and has developed a number of valuable resources. He is also adept as a retreat leader and spiritual director. Â
As General Manager for Mission Integration, Shane is driven by a passion to support dedicated individuals navigating the complexities of contemporary service to those in need. Â
He brings a vast knowledge and compassionate spirit to his mission at Mercy Community.Â
