Mercy Community Greater Downs Support Services Directory
The directory is a community resource designed to introduce new families, community members, support services and Government agencies to the many programs, facilities and services that support social and economic participation in the Toowoomba Region.
Compiled by Mercy Community’s Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) program and Greater Downs Local Level Alliance, both funded by the Queensland Government, the directory will provide easy access to a comprehensive range of agencies, community organisations, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, Migrant and Refugee support services, listed in the directory by service type.
Our CAMS Program has been recognised for its contribution to multiculturalism in the South West region, with the 2014 Friends of Africa Award at Parliament House Canberra and the 2012–2013 Business Excellence Award from the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Developed with evidence, delivered with compassion.
Mercy Community has been supporting Queensland families for over 150 years. In this time, we’ve developed a suite of programs that respond to particular areas of need we’ve recognised while working with Queensland families. Our services are based on research and evidence, and delivered with compassion.
Better together
Many of our programs are provided in partnership with Commonwealth, State and Local Government departments, and other not-for-profit organisations.
