Pathways for Early Learning & Development
Our Pathways for Early Learning & Development (PELD) program, run in partnership with Playgroup Queensland, aims to support children to learn and develop in all aspects in the critical first five years of life.
The program recognises that children learn in both formal and broader family and community settings. Children and their parents/caregivers are engaged in structured playgroups (including pre-prep in Warwick) as well as in-home support.
Our practitioners work in the following communities:
Greater Ipswich: Gatton and surrounds in the Lockyer Valley.
Toowoomba & Greater Downs: Warwick, Stanthorpe and surrounds.
Families can self-refer to the program or be referred by someone else with their consent.

Program activities
As part of the Pathways for Early Learning and Development Program we work with children and their caregivers to provide:
- Weekly playgroups including Sing & Grow (Gatton) and Step into Prep (Warwick)
- Opportunities to engage with children to promote learning and development
- Opportunities to engage with families to understand their specific situation and how they might best be supported
- Assistance to families to develop plans to overcome hurdles and reach goals
- Information and links to other services to support long-term wellbeing
