Sexual Abuse Counselling Program
A safe space for connection and processing
Our Sexual Abuse Counselling Program offers vital support to children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse.
Program Highlights
Support for carers and family members
We understand that healing extends beyond the individual. That’s why we offer support to carers and non-offending family members of children and young people who have been affected by sexual abuse.
Personalised approach
Each child or young person, along with their non-offending parent or carer, receives individualised support for up to 26 sessions, ensuring their unique needs are addressed effectively.
Early Intervention for young children
For children under 5 years of age, we may conduct joint sessions with the child and their carer to provide age-appropriate support and intervention.
Program Specifics:
Our program is specifically designed to assist children and young people from 5 to 18 years old who:
-
Are subject to child protection statutory intervention:
We offer compassionate support to those who have been identified within the child protection system, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. -
Have experienced sexual abuse or are engaging in problematic sexualised behaviours:
Our program addresses the complex needs of those who have experienced sexual abuse or are exhibiting early signs of harmful sexual behaviours, providing tailored counselling and support.
