The final report and findings of the Royal Commission into Aged Care have been released on 1 March 2021.

Mercy Community acknowledge the comprehensive report and findings and welcomes the recommendations and the discussion this has generated about the changes needed at a funding and systems level to ensure Australia has a better approach to meeting the needs of older Australians.

We look forward to the response from government to these recommendations and a new direction for Aged Care into the future.
