NIISQ
National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland provides eligible people with necessary and reasonable care and support among other services for anyone who experiences serious personal injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Queensland on or after 1 July 2016.
QCSS
Queensland Community Support Scheme is available for people who:
- Are not eligible for NDIS but have a disability
- Chronic illness, mental health or other consideration
- Other circumstances that impact your ability to live independently in the community
Mercy Community can assist with:
Shopping
Local social groups and other recreational activities
Visits to the doctor or another health professional
It can also provide home services such as:
Basic home maintenance like gardening or cleaning
Meal preparation
Cleaning and household chores
Personal care, such as showering and dressing

Please call 1800 600 300 if you require eligibility and assessment service information about QCSS Access Point. The Access Point should be contactable on weekdays during business hours, including on all public holidays that are not state-wide or national.
