NIISQ
National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland provides eligible people with necessary and reasonable care and support among other services for anyone who experiences serious personal injuries as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Queensland on or after 1 July 2016.
QCSS
Queensland Community Support Scheme is available for people who:
Are not eligible for NDIS but have a disability
Chronic illness, mental health or other consideration
Other circumstances that impact your ability to live independently in the community
Mercy Community can assist with:
Shopping
Local social groups and other recreational activities
Visits to the doctor or another health professional
It can also provide home services such as:
Basic home maintenance like gardening or cleaning
Meal preparation
Cleaning and household chores
Personal care, such as showering and dressing
